Artisan Made UK (AMUK) began showcasing exceptional craft making talent from around the country in 2023. Now we're gearing up for our return in 2026
Based in North Yorkshire, Artisan Made UK takes place at Skipton Auction Mart and is run by the organisers of the long standing and well regarded Art in the Pen and Crafts in the Pen events.
We pride ourselves on creating high quality events where creatives can showcase their talents to potential buyers. All of our exhibitors go through an application process to ensure only high quality, hand crafted work is on display.
This well established Christmas Market sited in the heart of Cardiff City Centre has been organised and successfully run by us for 30 years. It is a unique visitor attraction and offers an alternative shopping experience as you are buying original work directly from the makers themselves. Each year we have an extensive rolling programme of over 200 individual businesses selling a wide variety of diverse arts and crafts interspersed with seasonal food and drink.
The Village specialises in natural, sustainable, holistic, craft traditions and is all about skill-sharing, with hundreds of daily workshops on offer (you can book or drop-by) including: green woodworking, blacksmithing, bow and arrow making, stone, wood and avocado carving, silver casting and all sorts of jewellery making. Plus learning how to thatch, throw a pot on a wheel, or even make a yurt or wooden framed building, plus fabric and fibre weaving, basket making, knitting, crochet, stitching and applique; as well as lotion, potion, soap and perfume making plus stained glass, pottery, raku and kiln making. Materials are natural and sustainably sourced and the rewards of hand craft making are profoundly positive.
Sited in the heart of the City's pedestrian shopping area our wooden stalls house genuine artists and crafts people who are keeping traditional skills alive by producing and selling their own high quality work, together with a tempting selection of food and drink stalls.
