About

Mary trained as a potter in the 1970s and then taught for many years alongside raising her family. She left teaching in Adult Learning, set up her workshop and in 2010 presented her first range of porcelain homeware. The hallmark of her work is simplicity and the intention is that the pots are used in everyday life. Many of the pieces are designed around hearts as well as a range inspired by the sea and coast.
In 2015 Charlotte Doe joined Mary, initially as an apprentice and is now a skilled maker. The output from the pottery has grown, since August 2017 making has become full time and over 60 galleries and craft shops are currently supplied. See Stockists page.
In December 2020 Mary’s husband Steve started working fulltime with Mary following their relocation to Solva. Pembrokeshire,
Mary exhibits at Trade and Retail Fairs. See Events page.
